このMDモデルはソモジのMDモデル同様に、フィンガーピッカー向けに作られたDシェイプのモデルで、日本には数本しか入荷していません。ルックス、サウンドともソモジにかなり影響された作りになっています。ロゼッタはフィガードメイプルの中に、アバロンとパールを交互に混ぜ合わしたカスタム仕様。ナット幅45mm、サドル上の弦間60mm。ネックはしっかりとした少し太めのＵシェイプネックです。ほとんどキズのない美品で、ボディネックともにコンディションの良いギターです。ラッカーフィニッシュですが、シェラックフィニッシュのような薄く木に染み込んだ塗装になっています。サウンドはとてもピュアで、単音、和音でも重厚感、音の深みが素晴らしい!! 豊かな倍音の中にも輪郭のある基音があり、低音から高音までバランスの良さと美しい響きがなんとも魅力的です。ハイポジションでも音質が落ちず、どのポジションでも安定したトーンが心地よい!! ソモジ同様、完成度の高いギターです。
Great MD Cutaway built by very popular Canadian luthier Mario Beauregard.
Mario studied under master luthier, Ervin Somogyi and you can see Somogyi influence in his guitar, but he took further and established his own style and sound. He only built a few MD Cutaway and it is a very rare model. His MD is wonderful for finger style players. Wonderful sound, beautiful overtone, and it is balanced from hight to low.
He only makes a few acoustic guitars and his price has gone up. Great opportunity to puchase wonderful Beauregard guitar in an excellent condition! He used a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood for this guitar and it is a price to buy!
